My sympathy to Dorene's family. I did not know she was so physically fit in addition to all her other accomplishments. How wonderful. I was the little flower girl for Dorene's wedding. My mom (her Aunt Fran Mangan) had enjoyed keeping in touch with Dorene over the years and shared the article she had in the Reminisce magazine not too long ago. Being a younger cousin, what I remember was that Dorene was blessed with a baby girl with a great name and red hair. My first baby was a red-head girl with an Irish heritage! Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. Dorene's first cousin,Lou Ann (Mangan) Herzog

Doreen was my best friend growing up in Sheboygan. We spent many happy hours at the beach, playing in the neighborhood and just laughing, talking and spending time together. Even though we hadn't seen each other in many years she was still in my heart and always will be. Deepest sympathy to her family and friends. Pat and Tom Adamavich

My condolences to all of you in the loss of Dorene. She was one of the strongest, most beautiful people I have had the pleasure of knowing and wish, as you do, there had been a lot more time. My own illness kept me away during her last days, but the memories will remain forever.

My deepest sympathy to all of you. I have fond childhood memories of your mother, my Aunt Doreen. She always had a joyful spirit when I was around her while all of us cousins were hanging out together at family gatherings. She always made you feel welcomed & always had a smile on her face & lots of laughter. She will be missed. May God give you comfort & healing during this time of loss & may your spirits be lifted as you recall the good times you had with her.
