Frank "Larry" Ogrin, 84, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully Sunday, September, 27, 2009, at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born February15, 1925, in North Chicago, he was the son of the late Lawrence and Pauline (Oblak) Ogrin. He attended the local schools of North Chicago and Waukegan. Larry served in the U.S. Army from June 15, 1943, until 1946. On June 28, 1947, he married June V. Krogman at St. Galls Church in Milwaukee. In 1956 they moved to Kenosha and have resided here ever since. He was employed by Johnson Motors for 30 years. He was a member of S.N.P.J. Lodge and the Disabled American Veterans. Larry was an avid golfer and bowled in Kenosha Classic League. Surviving are his wife, June; his two sons, Dan Ogrin of Racine and Joel Ogrin of San Francisco, CA; and two grandchildren, Samantha Ogrin and Michael Ogrin. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Jenny Westberg, and his brother, Joseph Ogrin. Funeral services will be private. Very sorry for your loss. Dick has alot of good golf memories with Larry. He was a good man, always very proud of his family. Our sympathy to you all.
