Elizabeth F. "Betty" Costabile, 87, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 27, 2009, at Brookside Care Center surrounded by her loving family. Born in Kenosha on December 8, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Odeal (LaCombe) Frasheski. She was a lifetime resident of Kenosha and attended local schools. On January 8, 1949, she married Joseph P. Costabile in Waukegan, IL. He passed away June 6, 1974. Elizabeth owned and operated Industrial Commercial Communications and Racine Private Police until she retired in 1990. She was a former member of St. Thomas Church. She was active in the Kenosha Achievement Center. She was also a member of the Italian American Ladies Auxiliary, Artemis Club, and Women’s Club. She enjoyed bowling, golfing, traveling, gardening, cooking, and playing cards. Surviving are her five children, Sylvester (Sandra) Costabile, Ronald (Barb) Costabile, Julie (Jeff) Frank, Lori Larson, and Jayne (Robert) Nudi, all of Kenosha; twelve grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a sister, Yvonne Becker of Kenosha. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, her brother Clifford Frasheski, and her sister Jeannette Daughtry. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 30th, from Proko Funeral Home at 9:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at St. George Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 29th, at Proko Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Kenosha Achievement Center would be appreciated by the family.
