Joanne GASPARIN
Joanne Gasparin, 71, of Pleasant Prairie, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 18, 2009, at her residence from a long illness. Born in Chicago, IL, on October 14, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Ann Blanco, formerly known as Cordelia White. She graduated with high honors from East Central High School in Cleveland, OH, in 1955. On July 6, 1957, she married William J. Gasparin, Jr. in Waukegan, IL. Joanne was employed as an Executive Secretary and later worked in the Human Resource Dept. at Cherry Electrical Products for 26 years and thereafter worked for Olsten Temporary Services until her retirement in 1997. She was a lifelong servant of the Jehovah Witnesses Congregation in Kenosha. She dedicated her life to her faith. Her favorite pastimes were watching the Chicago Bears football games, taking care of her pets and feeding the birds. She always helped those in need. She will be sadly missed by her family and many friends. The family would like to extend a special “Thank You” to Cheryl Ventura for always going above and beyond in providing compassionate care and help in caring for mom during her illness. We are so grateful for your support, and also to Hospice Alliance. Survivors include her husband, William “Bill” of Pleasant Prairie; a son, William J. (Judy) Gasparin, III of Kenosha; a daughter, Karen M. (Rodney) Wember of Salem; six grandchildren, Steven, David, Sarah, Katrina, Tommy and Danny; and three great-grandchildren. we have known Joanne for a long time and want to send our condolences to the whole family for their loss.Joanne was always very sweet to me when i would visit we had many long discussions about life and death and why i would take her husband on those long fishing trips.Sometimes it takes a death to realize how important people are as individuals because we get caught up in life.Joanne was one of those people. She loved her animals because,i believe they were the best at showing unconditional love.our prayers will be with her and the whole family.

Even though I did not know Sister Gasparin very well, I know Jehovah truly did. She was faithful in his service and that is something to be inspired and strengthening for all of us. My uncle just passed away literally two weeks ago and I am going through a loss just like you. I pray that jehovah protects you and gives you strength during this time of loss and at the same time we can look to the future in store for all of those loved ones who have fallen asleep in death. How great that day will be!I leave you with these encouraging two scriptures:Numbers 6:24-26Isaiah 41:13May Jehovah bless you and give you the strength to endure, and fight the fine fight to the end.

With with message, we would like to express our condolences to all of Joanne's family and close friends. We will certainly miss her smiling face in the congregation. We look forward with faith to the time when, in God's new world, we will be reunited with her and other resurrected loved ones whom we have lost to the enemy, death. These are but sleeping and are all in Jehovah God's unfailing memory awaiting the day of a new awakening to life on a paradise earth where 'death will be no more, neither will mourning, nor outcry, nor pain be anymore." -Revelation (Apocalypse) 21:4
