Michael F. "Mickey" McCarville, 74, of Kenosha, passed away Sunday, August 16, 2009, at St. Catherine’s Medical Center. Born on February 1, 1935, in Lancaster, WI, he was the son of the late Raymond and Cecilia (Coffey) McCarville. He attended the schools of Lancaster moving to Kenosha in 1958 to make his home. He was in the United States Navy from August 9, 1954, until his honorable discharge on May 12, 1955. On August 5, 1961, he married Charlotte Marvin in Kenosha. For 30 years he was employed by American Motors/Chrysler Corp. as a foreman, retiring in 1988. A member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, he was a server/lector at Mt. Carmel for over 35 years. Mike enjoyed fishing, golfing, archery, making wine, gardening and especially spending time with his grandchildren. Surviving are his wife, Charlotte of Kenosha; four children, Michael F. (Bea) McCarville II of Kenosha, Shawn P. McCarville of Kenosha, Peter J. (Karin) McCarville of Kenosha, and Karen L. (Andrew) Rozzoni of Racine, WI; a brother, John (Theresa) McCarville of Littleton, CO; two sisters, Ann (Richard) Schauf of Wisconsin Dells and Rosie (Ron) Keichinger of Dane, WI; and his three grandchildren, Samuel, Kathryn and Maximilian. He was preceded in death by a sister, Claire McNamera; and six brothers, Joseph, Thomas, Leo, Peter, Mark and Stephan. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 20th, from Proko Funeral Home at 9:30 a.m. Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday at Proko Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Our Lady of Mt.
