Theresa Sartor, 89, of Kenosha, passed away on Friday, August 7, 2009, in Mesa, Arizona. Born on February 23, 1920, in Cosenza, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Lento. On December 27, 1942, she married Mario Sartor, who preceded her in death on October 31, 1985. Theresa was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, the Italian American Ladies Auxiliary, and also the Holy Rosary Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed playing bingo, cards, golfing, cooking, going to Vegas and spending time with her family. Survivors include a son, Frank Sartor (Jamie Schmidt) of Kenosha; a daughter, Cassandra (Robert) Hein of Kenosha; niece, Carmella (Jim) Paulsen of Kenosha; four grandchildren, Kristine Hein, Tracey Wilkinson, Lisa (William) Ipsen, and Michelle (Ryan) Davidson; great niece and nephew, Jennifer and Julian Paulsen; and ten great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Sam, James, and Ernest Salerno; and two sisters, Lena Tomba and Divina Salerno. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, August 12, 2009, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church at 11 a.m. Interment will be private.
