Anna Clara Campolo, 91, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 30, 2009, at Harbor House South surrounded by her family. Born in Chicago, IL, on February 14, 1918, she was the daughter of the late John and Katherine (Solek) Stanek. She received her education in the schools of Chicago before coming to Kenosha in 1949 to make her home. On June 14, 1947, she married Lawrence Campolo in Chicago. He passed away on April 13, 1984. She was formerly employed by American Motors Corp., was a former member of St. James Catholic Church and was currently a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church. Surviving are her daughter, Janet Hanrahan of Kenosha; her five grandchildren, John M. Hanrahan, James L. (Kelly) Hanrahan, Michael L. (Linda) Montemayor, Jason M. Montemayor and Brandy J. Hazlett; and four great-grandchildren, Tiffany M. Hanrahan, Matthew J. Hanrahan, Christopher D. Hanrahan, and Catherine Ann Destiny Hazlett. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Catherine Hazlett; six brothers and one sister. Friends are asked to meet at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church (formerly St. George Catholic Church) on Wednesday, August 5th, for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be private at St. James Cemetery.
