Lois J. Schoor, 76, formerly of Kenosha, late of Zion, IL, passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2009, at St. Catherine’s Medical Center in Pleasant Prairie. Born on November 25, 1932, in Escanaba, MI, she was the daughter of the late Norman and Gladys (Peterson) Hall. She graduated from Goodman High School in Goodman, WI. She came to Kenosha in 1955 where she graduated from Gateway Technical College with a degree as a Licensed Practical Nurse. In 2001 she moved to Zion, IL. In 1954, she married Robert Schoor in Tacoma, WA; he passed away in 1993. Lois worked as an LPN in various facilities in Kenosha, Racine and North Chicago before her retirement in 1992. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Surviving are her four children, Jeff R. Schoor of Kenosha, Scot W. Schoor of Racine, WI, Carol Anne (Salvador) Garibay of Zion, IL, and Cathy Anne Toms of Franklin, WI; eleven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Cari Anne Schoor; a son, Mark Schoor; and two grandsons, Robert Schoor and Raul Flores.
