Warren L. Bragulla, age 81, of Kenosha, passed away on Wednesday, June 24, 2009, at his home surrounded by his family. Warren was born on January 7, 1928, in Chicago, IL, to Lawrence and Florence (Larson) Bragulla. He served his country in the US Navy during World War II. On August 23, 1958, Warren was united in marriage to Philomena Nolan in Chicago. Warren worked as a forklift operator for Bell and Howell for 26 years. Warren was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church and the M and M Club there. He was very passionate about woodworking and built everything from furniture to birdhouses. Survivors include two sons, Russel (Anne) Bragulla of Chicago and Michael Bragulla of Kensington, CT; a daughter, Christina (Thomas) Depp of Kenosha; 12 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Warren was preceded in death by his wife, Philomena; and two sisters, Marilyn Bragulla and Lorraine Margel. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 26th, at the Proko Funeral Home at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will be held on Friday at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Interment will be held privately at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Cemetery.
