To just say "Char Hackett" brings a smile and sunshine to our hearts. Dave and I thought the world of her and your whole family. Although we lost touch after Boy Scouts and the kids were out of high school, we will always have fond memories and love in our hearts for Char. Whenever she would call on the phone I knew it was her immediately by her soft sweet voice. She would help with anything and do anything for anyone. She was a godsend! Maybe 2 years ago I was leaving work at Jelly Belly one night and I saw her "HACKETT" license plate. I actually followed her home and chatted with her in her front yard for awhile. I am so glad I did! We will miss her. Our hearts and prayers go to your entire family. Good bye for now our Friend! With Love,Dave & Teena Whitt

Our prayers and thoughts are with you and your family. It has been many years since I seen Charlotte. My Mother Alice Henke Rainwater is the only living Aunt she had. She is 92 years old. It is a shame that we lose track of our family members.

Although the years and miles have kept us apart, I still remember fun filled weekends at the Carlson house when I was much younger. Oh, how I admired Charlotte's pink ballet shoes! The Anderson and Carlson families had a lot of good times together. My husband and I send our sincerest condolences to the entire family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you from far away Belgium. God bless all of you. Cousin Darlene (and John)

Jim, sympathetic words seem inadequate. Char and Jim, wife and husband, mother and father, grandmother and grandfather – half is missing. Marion and I deeply regret the sorrow you and your family are experiencing. From as far away as we are, we too will miss Char’s bubbly personality, her warmth and her outstanding strength. Her memory will remain fixed in our hearts. John and Marion Buzzell

To Charlotte's Family,I am a volunteer at Hospice House and consider it privilege to have spent the time I had with your wife, Mom and Grandma. Charlotte endured so much and gave us more than words can describe. She stole my heart with her wonderful smile and acceptance of God's plan for her. I know you have wonderful memories of her in your life and she will live on through those, they are precious.
