Roberta D. Little, 75, of Kenosha, passed away Monday, April 13th, 2009, at Hospitality Manor & Rehabilitation Center. Born on October 4, 1933, in Bayfield, WI, she was the daughter of the late Ole and Jennie (Dyrness) Olsen, both immigrants from Norway. She was educated in the schools of Bayfield and graduated from Bayfield High School in 1952 and played guard on their first girls basketball team. On July 2, 1955, she married Harold Little in Bayfield, WI. She came to Kenosha in 1955 to make her home. Roberta was a member of Order of Eastern Star #164 Bristol and #71 Union Grove, White Shrine True Kindred Daughters of the Nile and J.U.S. Club. She was Grand Marshall of the Order of the Eastern Star from 1995-96. She enjoyed doing graphics work for printed materials for the Eastern Star and Masonic Lodges. Roberta also enjoyed ceramics, photography and crocheting. Her crocheting has won her many ribbons and awards including Best of Show and Grand Champion at numerous area county fairs. Surviving are her husband, Harold; two sons, Paul (Linda) Little of Kenosha and Tony (Joanne Demmers) Little of Clear Water Lake, WI; and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Janet Stenson and Marge Johnson. A memorial service will be held on Monday, April 20th, at Proko Funeral Home at 3:30 p.m. Visitation will be held on Monday at the funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
