Bonita L. Ross, 66, of Kenosha, passed away Sunday, February 8th, 2009, at United Hospital System-Kenosha Campus. Born in Chicago, IL, on January 25, 1943, she was the daughter of the late William Dillon and Constance Galot. She was educated in the schools of Chesterton, IN, where she resided. On October 11, 1963, she married James L. "Jim" Ross in Waukegan, IL, before coming to Kenosha in 1965 to make their home. She had been employed at Ocean Spray until she was unable to work due to ill health. Bonita was an avid collector of antiques and enjoyed doing counted cross stitch and playing bingo. Surviving are her two sons, Daniel Ross of Union Grove, WI, and Jeffrey Ross of Kenosha; a daughter, Kathleen (Richard) Wahl of Kenosha; a brother, Michael Dillon of Gary, IN; her six grandchildren, Jami Ross, Jessica Ross, Elizabeth Stanley, Courtney Wolf, Jaron Ross, and Donovan Ross; and one great-grandson, Dominic Gassittie. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Laurie Wolf on September 10, 2008; her husband, James on December 16, 2008; a sister, Susan Schultz; and a brother, William Dillon, Jr. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 11th, at Proko Funeral Home at 7:00 p.m. Interment will be private. Visitation will be held on Wednesday at Proko Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
