Attilio L. Nicolazzi, 84, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 30th, 2009, at United Hospital System-Kenosha Campus. Born in Iowa on October 21, 1924, he was the son of the late Anthony and Lucy (Zucca) Nicolazzi. His family came to Kenosha when he was a young child and he attended local schools. On July 2, 1955, he married Lois M. Boetcher. She passed away March 20, 2008. He had been employed by American Motors as a supervisor and was a member of St. Mark’s Catholic Church. Surviving are two sons, Mark (Elizabeth) Nicolazzi of Grand Marsh, WI, and Mike (Julie) Nicolazzi of West Allis, WI; four grandchildren, Cara, Ryan, Amber and Jake; and four great-grandchildren, Vanessa, Marissa, Isabella and Mia. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Angelo and Anthony. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, February 4th, at St. Mark’s Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Green Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass.
