Alice A. (Gianeselli) Zasada, 87, of Kenosha, passed away Tuesday, January 27th, 2009, at Burlington Memorial Hospital in Burlington, WI. Born in Kenosha on November 20, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Rose Gianeselli. She was a lifelong resident of Kenosha and graduate of Mary D. Bradford High School. On June 7, 1947, she married John Zasada at St. Mark’s Catholic Church. He passed away February 4, 1978. She had worked for Great Lakes Naval Station and the Kenosha Unified Schools. Alice was a member of St. Mark’s Catholic Church. She is survived by a daughter, Linda (James) Sery of Oklahoma City, OK; two sons, John J. (Pat) Zasada of Crestview, FL, and Mark S. (Nancy Kleinschmidt) Zasada of Bristol; four grandchildren, James Sery Jr., Zada Ann Sery Farris, Samantha M. Zasada Forrest, and Matthew J. Zasada; and three great-grandchildren, Emma G. Sery, Julian E. Forrest and Connor J. Zasada. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Rosemary Dielmann, Esther Ventura, and Anna Nicolazzi; and a brother, Gerald Gianeselli. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Entombment will be at All Saints Mausoleum following. All services will be private according to Alice’s wishes. Za, Mark, John and all of the associated families friends and loved one's want to send our family's condolences. We feel very privileged to have known her for over the past thirty plus years. When we last saw her at Jimmer and Stacy's wedding, our memories are vivid of the pictures Will took of the Matriarch of your Big and Beautiful family surrounded by the one's she loved most.Though you will always miss her, know with open hearts that she is smiling down at you with John at her side.
