Lorraine "Daisy" Lux, 85, of Kenosha, passed away Friday, January 23rd, 2009, at St. Catherine’s Medical Center. Born in Oshkosh, WI, on July 29, 1923, she was the daughter of the late John and Anna Lautenschlager. She was educated in the schools of Oshkosh. On May 16, 1942, she married Jerome M. Lux at St. Mary’s in Oshkosh. He preceded her in death on February 16, 2004. Daisy enjoyed painting, baking, following the Green Bay Packers and was an avid wrestling fan. Surviving are five sons, Thomas (Pat) Lux of Kenosha, Victor (Lorre) Lux of Kenosha, Kenneth Lux of Muskego, WI, James (Jill) Lux of Kenosha, and Mark (Mindy) Lux of North Carolina; three daughters, Mary (Ken) Weiher of Kenosha, Colette (Ramon) Smith of Kenosha, and Toni Marcoe of Oak Creek, WI; twenty grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Jerome A. "Jerry" Lux, three brothers, and four sisters. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 26th, at Proko Funeral Home at 11:30 a.m. Interment will follow at St. George Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday at Proko Funeral Home from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service.
