John D. Fabian, 77, of Kenosha, passed away on Saturday, January 10th, 2009, at his home following a battle with cancer. Born on December 3, 1931, in Chicago, IL, he was the son of the late Louis and Angeline (Zarletti) Fabian. He moved to Kenosha as a child and was educated in local schools. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War, entering the service in 1952 and was honorably discharged in 1954. On July 6, 1957, he married Caroline Monticello in Kenosha. She preceded him in death on February 13, 2000. John was employed as a machinist with Ladish/Tri-Clover for 35 years, retiring in 1989. He enjoyed playing golf and following the stock market. Survivors include a son, David (Barbara) Fabian of Racine; a daughter, Karri (Tim) Bryan of Pleasant Prairie; two sisters, Evelyn Fabian of Kenosha and Elaine Hernandez of Anaheim, CA; and two grandchildren, Bonnie and Michael Bryan. He was preceded in death by a sister, Esther in infancy; and a brother, Edward.
