Frances Rose Ventura
Frances Rose Ventura, 74, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully at Aurora Medical Center on Wednesday, December 3rd, 2008, from complications due to pneumonia, after a battle with cancer. Born in Kenosha on April 25, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Lena (Oribiletti) Zarletti. As a young girl, she moved to Sheboygan where she graduated from high school. She also attended Downer College in Milwaukee. On November 4, 1961, she married Domenick D. Ventura in Kenosha. She worked as a Payroll Clerk at U.W. Parkside from 1978 until 1996. She was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, the Moose Lodge and Keno Kampers. Most important, Frances loved spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed trips to the casinos, gardening, Scrabble, cooking, baking, computer games, puzzles, playing cards and taking senior bus tours. Surviving are her husband, Domenick D. Ventura; her six children, Debbie (Bruce) Clemens of Kenosha, Alan Ventura of Milwaukee, Lena (Randy) Bredin of Kenosha, Gary Ventura of Kenosha, David Ventura of Ft. Thomas, KY, and Dominic (Jessica) Ventura of Pleasant Prairie, WI; her grandchildren, Rachel & Kurt Clemens, Todd, Keith & Scott Bredin, and Amanda, Samantha, Katrina & Abigail Ventura; a brother, Tom Zarletti; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Jeanette Noel and Mary Zarletti. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Malik Bandealy and his team, and the Aurora Medical Staff. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 6th, from Proko Funeral Home at 9:30 a.m. Mass to be celebrated at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. Entombment to follow at All Saints Mausoleum.
