Arnold J. Ferrier, 71, of Kenosha, passed away Monday, December 2nd, 2008, at Hospitality Manor Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center. Born April 11, 1937 in Green Bay, he was the son of the late Desire and Mary (Liebergen) Ferrier. Educated in Casco schools, he came to Kenosha in 1959. He was a member of the Army Reserve, honorably discharged April 26, 1962. On October 28, 2003, he married Christina L. Gross in Las Vegas. He was employed by American Motors/Chrysler Corp from 1959 until 2001. He worked as a line worker for many years, then was promoted, traveling to Michigan and Ohio to set up assembly lines for motors and crank shafts in other plants. Arnold was a member of The Moose Lodge #286 and attended St. Peter’s Catholic Church. He loved to play Dart Ball and golf. Arnold was an avid bowler for many years and loved to play cards with family and friends. He especially enjoyed spending time with his step-son, Brandon, and his dog, Yugi. Surviving are his wife, Christina L. Gross-Ferrier of Kenosha; a step-son, Brandon T. Gross of Kenosha; six siblings, Henry Ferrier, Ira (Judy) Ferrier, Jean (Harvey) Parson, Martin Ferrier and special friend Helen Flanagan, all of Green Bay; Lorraine (Robert) Malcore, and Walter (Donna) Ferrier; twenty-four nieces and nephews, Sharon (Steven) Fountaine, Gary (Laura) Ferrier, Gail (Scott) Selby, Mark (Andrea) Ferrier, Brian (Cathie) Ferrier, Amy Ferrier, Joseph (Trudy) Ferrier, Curtis (Melanie) Ferrier, Gene (Jessica) Ferrier, Susan (Alan) Thiry, Shirley (John) Frea, Dennis (Gloria) Malcore, Debbie Strnad, Barbara (Brian) Rass, Lisa (Paul) Collins, Nora (Mike) Kanzenbach, Paul (Camie) Ferrier, Dan Ferrier, Julie Sacotte and fiancée Joe Hummel, Tim (Kristen) Shefchik, A.J. (Becky) Shefchik, Eric (Meredith) Shefchik, Melissa (Darren) Richmond, and Ryan Shefchik and fiancée Jayme Murphy; thirty-one great-nieces and nephews; fourteen great-grand nieces and nephews; and longtime friends, Dale and Carolyn Jacobs, and their children, Chris and Cindy. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Donald, Bernard and George Ferrier. Funeral services will be held, Monday, December 8th, at St. Peter Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be private.
