On August 30, 1958, she married Joseph E. Zagame at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Racine. They came to Kenosha in 1967 to make their home. He preceded her in death on August 27, 2003. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker. While being a stay at home mom, Victoria provided babysitting services for family and friends. She was a long time member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church and a current member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church. Victoria helped organize the Very Special Arts Festival with her husband. She was a playground supervisor for St. Thomas Grade School and a longtime member of the Roma Lodge. She enjoyed photography, collecting cookbooks, Disney Classics and figurines, playing bingo and going to Casinos. Victoria was a very generous person who enjoyed shopping and giving as gifts, the things that she bought. Surviving are her son, Joseph A. Zagame of Kenosha; four daughters, Loretta (Brian) Jaffe of Kenosha, Virginia (Burt) Robinson of Kenosha, Samantha (Doug) Hoff of Litchfield Park, AZ, and Vickie (Brian) Brown of Brooklyn, WI; a brother, Marion "Andy" (Penny) Wawiorka of Racine; twelve grandchildren, Angela (Shawn) Talbert, Eric (Becca) Zagame, Alex, Mallory, Sam and Connor Robinson, Doug, Ashley, Nicole and Hailey Hoff, and Katie and Audrey Brown; and a great-granddaughter, Alexis Zagame. She is also survived by two aunts, Helen (Joe) Swendrowski and Reggie "Tawba" (Charles) Haggerty; a goddaughter, Cheryl Chapman; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Jolene; two sisters, Teresa Kirkorian and Cecelia Vobeda; and two brothers, Ted and Victor Wawiorka. On behalf of Victoria the family wishes to thank Dr. Joshua Bloom who went above and beyond the call of being a doctor. He also became a very special friend to Victoria, always greeting her with a smile, kiss and a hug. He provided her with loving and compassionate care. We are forever grateful. The family would also like to acknowledge and extend a heartfelt thank you to Dracey and the nursing staff of Hospice Alliance. Her caregiver Debbie for the compassionate care. A special thank you to Stephanie B. and Madison for their many visits, it truly made her happy. In our lives we cross the paths of many people. There importance is measured by how much they touch our lives. Vicky touched the lives of so many friends and relatives alike. I don't remember her ever not smiling. She showed enormous strength in her struggles. The loss of Linda at a very young age. The love of her life, Joe succumbed to his own battle. Now they can be together again. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. "Tawba". Until we meet again, God bless, Gus Haggerty

---My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Your Mom was one special lady and friend. She did not pass alone,--she took a piece of all of us with her just as she left a piece of herself, instilled on all of us and our lives. Gods Peace to you all, Aunt Judy

"OUR SPECIAL LOVE!"Vicky, the fifth child of six,So warm and friendly kind of mix.God blessed her with much love,Delivered from the angels above! Her marriage to a wonderful man,Was the best loving plan.Joe and Vicky made a perfect match,Like a loving and tasteful cookie batch! She was so full of happiness,Love is all she wanted, no less! She loved being a mother full time,To her, it was worth every dime! Her loving arms were always there, and able,To keep her family quite stable! As a Grandma, she was always so proud,Even when the kids were very loud!Vicky always had a loving smile,As if she was, The Queen of the Nile! Her eyes sparkled so bright,Just like the stars at night! Her blond short hair was always neat,Sitting proud upon her seat! Her heart was filled with much love,As if she was a white dove! Her touch was so warm and kind,Regarded as a High Class Wine! Each week she enjoyed the fun,Making sure her hair and nails were done! Her eyes sparkled and glowing, To watch her family and friends growing!“Tawba” was a family joke,To her closest family folk! She was the best friend around,Never letting anyone down! Her last dollar, she would give,To anyone, who needed to live!Vicky enjoyed cookbooks galore,Playing at the casino and bingo was no bore! She took her camera everywhere,She loved to take pictures to share! She loved to shop for gifts,It gave her happiness a lift!To give others a smile,Was worth all of her while!Vicky was always so giving, So lovely a person, amongst the living! She wanted just to share,To show how much she did care! Her health went bad,Making everyone around, so sad!She suffered everyday,With her family she wanted to stay! This special love of ours,Will be sadly missed for eternal hours! The love she gave,Is what everyone should crave!Vicky will now be with Linda and Joe,But, You are still our loving soul!Go and soar with the angels above, As you will always have our love!Sadly missed, you will be,As you are set free! From all the pain you endured,Now you are cured!Your family and friends loved you so,Our tears will forever flow!We all will miss you so much,Especially, your warm and loving touch!Written Especially for Vicky and our families!Given this special poem by the “Charles Haggerty” family of Milwaukee.Written By, Denise HaggertyNovember 7, 2008

Dear Family of Vicky,We have all lost a wonderful person. In life we do not get to choose our parents but I am sure that if you could have made that choice you would have chosen Vicky and Joe to be your parents. They were two of the best that you could ever find. You are the result of their life and you are proof that they were in fact the best. You stood by both of their sides until the end and gave them your heart and your respect. A parent can ask for no more.We will all miss Vicky and her ever present camera, and her cards that always came at just the right time. She was a wonderful cousin and a great friend for my mother Helen. She will be missed by all the Swendrowski's and we send our deepest sympathy and prayers. The County artist Brooks and Dunn have a song called "Believe" that has a line that says "I dont believe it all ends with a long ride in a hearse" I don't believe it either and some day all of us will be reunited in a better place. Vicky and Joe will just have to wait for the rest of us to join them in celebration.LoveJohn Swendrowski

Virginia and Family, I always enjoyed hearing the stories of your Mom. I will never forget when the girls were selling candy bars for the Quebec trip. She had Joe bring her to Pig then proceeded to buy a ton from both Cass and Mal. That was the highlight of the day for Cass and me too. What a neat lady. I am here for you always. LuAnn
