Margaret BUDAHAZY
Margaret C. Budahazy, 94, of Kenosha, passed away on Saturday, November 1st, 2008, at Hospice House in Pleasant Prairie, WI. Born on February 19, 1914, in Uniontown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Edna (King) Steele. She received her education in the schools of Uniontown. In 1975 she moved to Indiana, in 1979 to Arizona, in 1993 to McDonald, OH, and in March of 2008, she moved to Kenosha to be closer to her daughter. In November of 1957, she married Andrew Budahazy in Virginia Beach. He preceded her in death. Margaret was an executive secretary for Educational Testing Services in Princeton, NJ, and also at Area Four Counsel and Aging in Indiana before her retirement. She was an avid reader and loved anything chocolate. Survivors include a daughter, Pat Shumaker of Kenosha; a son, Carl Castore of Bangkok, Thailand; a sister, Edna Mae Edmonds of San Leandro, CA; four grandchildren, Jennifer Chevrette, Janette Shumaker, Anthony Castore, and Collin Castore; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Nell Ringer of Uniontown, PA, and Evelyn Murray of McDonald, OH. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 4th, at Proko Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Entombment will take place on Thursday at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens in West Lafayette, IN.
