Antonio J. Lori, 56, of Kenosha, passed away Monday, October 27th, 2008, at his residence with his family by his side. Born on August 8, 1952 in Kenosha, he was the son of the late Jack and Ermelinda (Tassi) Lori. On November 1, 1975, he married the love of his life Santina "Sandy" Ruffolo of Kenosha at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church. In 1970 he graduated from high school at Mary D. Bradford, in May of 1973 he graduated with an Associate Degree in Mechanical Production at Gateway Technical College in Kenosha, while working at American Motors Corp. and then at Dynamatic in Kenosha. Most recently he was a former construction worker and a Superintendent at Bane Nelson, Inc., until an injury in 1996 which made him leave work. After leaving work he attended Gateway Technical College of Kenosha and Racine receiving three Associate Degree’s, Civil Engineering, Technology Architectural and Public Works & Structural. Antonio was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, and former member of Local #72, the Finishers Union, the Labor Union and Italian American Club. Surviving Antonio are his wife, Santina "Sandy" Lori; his beloved dog, Kipper Ann; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Pierino and Rose Ruffolo; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Mario and Maria Dattilo; two nephews, Frank Dattilo and Luigi Ruffolo; two nieces, Lisa Dattilo and Susanna (Ryan) Miller; and a great nephew, Baggio Miller, all of Kenosha. He is also survived by brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Francesco and Ina Ruffolo and Achille and Almira Ruffolo; a niece, Carmela; two nephews, Angelo and Nigel Ruffolo; and many great nieces and nephews, all of England. He was preceded in death by a nephew, Kelly, and a niece, Gina Ruffolo. The family wishes to thank Hospice Alliance, Drs. Joe and Mario Garretto, St. Catherine’s’ Hospital, Kenosha Medical Center and Oncology Alliance and their entire staffs for all of their compassion and care. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 31st, from Proko Funeral Home at 9:15 a.m. Mass to be celebrated at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at St. George Cemetery. Sandy, I am very sorry for your loss! Tony was a very caring man that would give the world if he could to any one in need. He will be missed by many but never forgotten!!
