Sophie Marie Werve, 88, of Kenosha, passed away on Tuesday, September 2nd, 2008, at Harbor House South surrounded by family. Born on October 8, 1919, in Kenosha, she was the daughter of the late Adorno and Madelina (Salerno) Pascucci. Sophie was educated in Kenosha schools. After retirement, she moved to Daytona, FL, where she lived for 26 years, returning to Kenosha in 1995. On December 28, 1940, she married Benjamin M. Werve in Kenosha. He preceded her in death. She was employed as an inspector with American Motors for over 10 years. Sophie loved working in her yard and making shell flowers. Survivors include two sons, Benjamin M. (Patricia) Werve of Carmello, CA, and Patrick (Christine) Werve of Gurnee, IL; a daughter, Judith M. Reget of Pleasant Prairie; two sisters, Antonia Perozzi and Adeline DeAngelis, both of Kenosha; ten grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Nello DiLetti, Emil Pascucci, and Eugene Pascucci.
