Bernardo E. Aguilar, 72, of Kenosha, passed away on Thursday, August 28th, 2008, at Kenosha Medical Center. Born on March 12, 1936, in Passi, Iloilo, Philippines, he was the son of the late Buenaventura and Ester (Estepar) Aguilar. He was educated in the schools of the Philippines. On June 30, 1965, he married Perla Palencia in the Philippines. Together they came to America and Kenosha in 1996. Survivors include his wife of Kenosha; five children, Bernadette Aguilar of Kenosha, Joy (Richard) Balabagno of Kenosha, Rodion (Pearlie) Aguilar of the Philippines, Victoria (Ariel) Gepty of the Philippines, and Donna (Arlan) Parreno of Bangkok, Thailand; two brothers, Helmar (Patria) Aguilar of the Philippines and Rafael (Mildred) Aguilar of Houston, TX; three sisters, Luna (Feliciano) Teruel, Corabelle Aguilar and Letty Padernal, all of the Philippines; and seven grandchildren, Laia, Jorich, Jeth, Vince, Loi, Andrea, and Daron. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 31st, at Proko Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. Burial will take place at Our Lady of Peace Cemetery in Passi, Iloilo, Philippines.
