Annie and I were very sad to hear of Carol's death through a St. Joesph's pamphlet, we all grew up together and were in school together through high school. I was the maid of honor at her wedding to Mike, and feel so badly we lost touch over the years. Annie and I send our heartfelt condolences to Mrs. Schaefer, Allan and her son Anthony. Our prayers and love are with you always. Rosemary Bochna Ann Gausden

Ethel, Alan, Kathy, Sara and Tony,My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Carol was my dear friend and I will miss knowing that she will always be there to pick up the phone. She was well known by my entire family and all my college friends. She loved to talk to everyone...always good for a story, a laugh, and many kind words. She was a strong spirit full of love and always encouraging to me. I will truly miss her. My family and I are all so grateful that she was able to take care of my grandmother too. Peacefully sleep comes to a dear beloved heart. Sweet dreams Carol.Sheri

Tony and family, I am very sorry to her about your loss. I remember going to visit Carol all the time, with my sister, when I lived in Kenosha. She was always so happy to see us. She loved to joke with us and laugh. Her never ending love, for you Tony, was obvious. I also remember when my grandmother was ill with cancer. Carol looked after her for us. For that, we are forever grateful to her. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers at this difficult time. Love, Stacey, Mark & family

Tony and family, we send our sympathy for your loss. She helped Mark's family so very much during the last weeks of his mothers life. We appreciated her insights as to what was happening and her knowledge when Helen's time with us was nearing the end so that we could be there for her. Your mom will be fondly remembered by the Bartel family. Your mom was a unique lady and I will remember her laughter, her love of animals and her love for you. She is free, happy and healthy now and I pray all will remember the best parts of her life. With sympathy. Jean and Mark Bartel
