I will always remember my Uncle Ray as the fun loving jokester that would startle me into laughing by "removing" his thumb. He was a wonderful person and loved by many. Rest easy...~Lorinda, Lyrica & Levi

My condolence goes to those that loved Ray so dearly. My grandfather takes an irreplaceable piece of my heart with him in his passing. He always found the humor in all parts of life and some of those humorous moments are my fondest memories. From the time I was a little girl he taught me to talk to my shoe, laughed at me when I dumped his scooter and came home in tears, took me to get doctored up after a dog bite and somehow still made me laugh. He always thought that laugher could cure anything. I've always thought it was more than the laughter that healed all things, it was his heart of gold. He always found the good in people. We love you Grandpa, Rest in Peace. Love, Becka Booney

There will always be a special place in my heart for my Uncle Ray. I have very fond memories from childhood when he and his family would come and visit us here in Washington. I was always so excited to get to see them all especially my cousins Shelley and Dean). Uncle Ray was always quick to make me laugh and share a good joke! My thoughts, prayers and condolences are with all of my family and Ray's friends there in Kenosha as they say goodbye to such a wonderful soul. Love Cassie (Scott, Mark, Aaron, Ronnie & Hannah)
Ted and Sonnie Pfeiffer June 10, 2008
My heart goes out to all of us at this difficult time. Ray so positively touched each of us. Ted and I were so touched when he flew out to attend our wedding in 1969. He has helped us through smooth and rough times and always loved and supported us. His jokes and laughter and sincerity have always been such a God send to us. I thank him for teaching our children that the thumb can be split in half and put back together again. They were so impressed with his child like love for them with such a grand heart. We will miss you Ray. Memory Eternal. God be with you and your family and friends. Our love Ted and Sonnie

My deepest sympathies to Aunt Viv and family. Uncle Ray is one of my favorite uncles, and he will always have a special place in our hearts. My fondest memories are all the fun times Shelley and I had with him taking spins down 116th Street (we were about 9 yrs old) riding in either the retired mailman truck or the crazy golf cart. He had a way to amaze us with his kindness and wit. He will be missed greatly by all of us. Love, Bette, Ed, and Shalynne

To Vivian and family, I wish so badly that I could attend his service and be there for his final send off. I'm so sorry for your heartache right now. Ray will be missed so much. He was a great brother to me and I'll miss our phone conversations and visits. It was his time to move on to bigger and better things and now he's free and out of pain. Rest easy Ray. Love your sis, Dana and Bob

I grew up in Washington on a Dairy Farm and my first memory of neighbors was Ruth & Al Pfeiffer, they remained our next door neighbors until I was 13 years old. Nearly every summer Ray would come to visit his parents Ruth & Al. We had neighborhood bar-b-q's and we got to know many of the Pfeiffer family from Wi. pretty well, especially Ray, Dean and Shelley. Though in 1975 we were no longer neighbors, we still lived in the small town of Arlington and have kept in touch and attend some of the Pfeiffer reunions held here in Wa. I am saddened at the loss of Ray. He was truly a gentle spirit who made the world a better place and he will be missed deeply by many. There are no words that can eliminate the pain your family is feeling at this difficult time but hold on to each other and know that Ray was loved by so many and will be remembered in the hearts of those he touched with his kindness.
