We have only met Betty a few times, but we all know she had to be such a wonderful person, to have such a precious daughter, like Wendy. We know this has been a difficult year for the whole family, and now with Wendy's surgery, it is especially hard on her, John and the girls. May God be with you all, and give you peace. Wish we were closer, to give you all a big hug. Our LOVE and prayers.

I keep thinking about all the fun times that our families had together, a lot of wonderful, happy, funny memories that will never go away. You are now in a wonderful place with all those you held very close in your heart. Please say hello to everyone for me. Although I'm sure you are all very busy playing cribbage and drinking beer already! It's going to be strange coming home and not being able to come out and visit with you. I'm sure going to miss you. Love Maryellen and Lori

On behalf of my Dad, Kenny Johnson, and my sister, Jan, we wish to extend our deepest sympathies to all of the Spitzer family. I hope that knowing Betty is at peace brings some comfort to you. Les and Betty always made us feel like part of the family. I can't see a Lite Brite or a cribbage board or a snowmobile without thinking of you, Betty. We'll miss you dearly down here but look forward to being reunited... And if you ask for a Pabst Blue Ribbon up there, I'll race everyone to be the first to get it for you. We love you all so much. Love, Laurie Johnson and family
