Dear Family of Eddie, I had the privilege of meeting Eddie while working at Bethel Nursing Home in Viroqua. Eddie soon became friends with most of the staff there as he was very out going and easy to be kind to. My favorite memory and I have many of Eddie was the way that he chose each day to be happy. I observed him one warm summer day listening loudly to Frosty the Snowman on his cassette player. I asked why he was listening to Christmas music and his short honest reply was...." It makes me happy." Eddie was truly one of those people who knew only friends because in his perspective everyone was his friend. I would like to remember him wheeling himself down the hall in a large sombrero greeting people and laughing. It was my great privilege to have known him and would like to let you know that there are many folks who experienced much happier days because Eddie brightened them. God Bless and keep you.....Eddies light will continue to shine in the lives of those who called him friend. Dorothea Green (R.T.A. Bethel Home and Services)

Dear Jack & family:I was so sorry to learn of Eddie's passing. We moved to Arizona last July but still follow the Kenosha News online. It's always hard to hear about someone I grew up with is gone. I know he is in a better place and is surrounded by all his loved ones that have been waiting to welcome him home. Please except my deepest condolences to all the kids as well. With fond childhood memories - Beth Ludlow/Wlahovich
