Dear Sue, Dave and Tom: How sorry we were to hear about Dick's sudden passing. Mr. Williams was always a special favorite of Ben's and all those eventful campouts will be happily remembered. Bryan is just finishing up basic training at Ft. Benning, GA, and still doesn't know the bad news. But, I know he would want you all to know how sorry he will be when he receives word, and would wish for me to convey his regards and condolences. You are in our thoughts and prayers.Janet

Dear Sue, Tom and Dave;Dick, (your father), was a wonderful friend and neighbor. He was like a father to Uriah. I look out my kitchen window and miss seeing him working in his yard or taking his cigarette breaks on his picnic table. He will be forever missed by Eric and myself. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.

He would take such great care of the neighborhood. We would see him outside when we would take our dogs to the park and he would be fixing up his backyard or enjoying the nice day sitting at the picnic table. He would always say hi. He took such great care of the park and making the neighborhood a beautiful place. Just the other day I drove by and there he was painting the neighbor’s mailbox. We will miss seeing him.

Dear Sue, Tom, and David,Ann, Billy, JoAnn, and I were deeply saddened upon hearing of the loss of Dick. We have many fond memories of cheering for David and Billy's various sports teams from the sideline, along with you and Dick and many others. They didn't always win, but they always had the best rooting section at the game! Take care in your time of grief by knowing that Dick was a great father, a great veteran and a great guy. Dear Sue, Tom & David:We all were shocked to hear of this very sad news.... Adam called us as soon as he heard the news. Terry just saw Dick 2 weeks ago at L&M Meats where Chris said he was a regular customer. I called Nicole in North Carolina and she felt bad hearing this and remembered all of you. Our hearts go out to you...there really are no words to express the sadness we feel for you all. Keep the wonderful memories of Dick in your heart and know what an impact he made on so many people. I haven't seen you in a very long time, but the closeness we had will always remain in my heart. Love,Sandy, Terry, Nicole, Chris & Adam Honey

Sue, my sincerest sorrow for your loss. Richard was a wonderful human being who brought much joy to life. I loved his sarcasm, wit and intelligence. He was a good person who I always considered to be my friend. Our prayers are with you and your sons who he loved so much. He was my "Robin Williams".

Dear Sue, Tom & David, We are so sorry for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Think of all the GREAT times with Troop 544 and 522 - the one that comes to mind is poor Dick trying to hunt down "air bread" (the Frieman name for Wonder-type bread) for a campout! The beauty of it is that he didn't blow his stack (at least in front of the kids) when he found out what it was. Dick was a model husband and father.Love,Chuck & Pat
