Clara Susan BRICKLEY
Clara S. Brickley, 95, of Kenosha, passed away Monday, May 12th, 2008, at Brookside Care Center. Born in Nokomis, Sask., Canada, on December 22, 1912, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Emma (Terry) Fonk. On August 22, 1932, she married Leo M. Brickley at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. He preceded her in death on June 1, 1995. Clara was a member of St. James Catholic Church, Catholic Women's Club, Kenosha Country Club, and former President of the P.T.A. at St. James School. She also was an avid Bridge player and belonged to various Bridge Clubs. Surviving is a son, Thomas L. Brickley of Rhinelander, WI; three daughters, Edna Klopstein of Kenosha, Mary Ellen (Donald) Ferkin of Mundelein, IL, and Susan (Thomas) Nelson of Middleton, WI; twelve grandchildren; and seventeen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by five sisters, Edna Brotcke, Florence Zimmerman, Inez Newell, Stella Stenstrom and Margaret O'Connor. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 16th, from Proko Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. Mass to be celebrated St. James Catholic Church at 11:30 a.m. Interment to follow at St. James Cemetery.
