Arthur William HAUSER
Arthur W. Hauser, 95, of Kenosha, passed away Tuesday, May 13th, 2008, at his residence surrounded by his family. Born in Wadsworth, IL, on August 16, 1912, he was the son of the late Frank and Louise Hauser. He was educated in the schools of Wadsworth, IL, and in 1945 he came to Kenosha to make his home. On November 15, 1947, he married Theresa Caputo at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church. On March 24, 1941, he entered the United States Army until his honorable discharge on December 2, 1945. He was in the Military Police, serving in the European, African, and Middle Eastern Theater. He was employed as a parts handler for American Motors/Chrysler Corp., retiring in 1966. Arthur was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Local #72 Retirees Club and V.F.W. Junker Ball Post #1865. He was a member of a senior golf league, loved to hunt, fish, bowl, garden and make things; he was a very handy man. Surviving are his wife, Theresa Hauser of Kenosha; two children, Judy (John) Peters of Kenosha and Ron (Annette) Hauser of Le Mesa, CA; a brother, William A. (Doris) Hauser; two sisters, Phyllis Stonelake and Marie Heyden; his three grandchildren, David Heroux, Kelly Krewson and Taylor Hauser; great-granddaughter, Alexis Krewson; and also his best friend, Tony Salituro. He was preceded in death by four brothers, Joe, Elmer, Ray and Glen Hauser. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 16th, at Proko Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. Entombment with full military honors to follow at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park.
