Ermelinda SATTLER
Ermelinda "Linda" Sattler, 66, of Kenosha, passed away Sunday, March 23rd, 2008, at her residence. Born on November 11, 1941, in San Antonio, TX, she was the daughter of Dan and Rosa (Bustemonte) Martinez. She and her family came to Kenosha when she was an infant and she was educated in local schools. On October 15, 1977, she married Ken Sattler at St. Casimir Catholic Church. She was a CNA formerly employed for 3 years at St. Catherine's Hospital, 17 years at Kenosha Hospital and 26 years for Washington Manor Nursing Home, retiring in 2003. Linda was a member of Our Lady of Holy Rosary Catholic Church and the Altar Society of the Church. She loved the Chicago Cubs, going to Wrigley Field, playing golf, going to shopping malls, gardening, attending Broadway Plays, and traveling to New York and San Diego. She is survived by her husband, Ken of Kenosha; her mother, Rosa Martinez of Kenosha; a daughter, Leslie Duffie of Kenosha; two brothers, Greg Martinez of Milwaukee, and Marty (Melody) Martinez of Anaheim, CA; eight sisters, Liz Martinez of Kenosha, Dolores (John) Rintamaki of San Diego, CA, Gloria Martinez of Los Angeles, CA, Theresa (Jim) Ynclan of Sturtevant, WI, Irma Arnoldini of Lakeland, FL, Emma Bustemonte of Lakeland, FL, Olga Valderez of Milwaukee, WI, and Rose (Herman) Renschin of Green Bay, WI; and a grandson, Alex M. Martin of Kenosha. She was preceded in death by her father and two brothers, Roland and Dan. A Memorial Mass will be held Wednesday, March 26th, at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be private.
