Kathryn B. Marrelli, 90, of Pleasant Prairie, passed away on Saturday, March 15th, 2008, at St. Catherine's Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. Born on March 4, 1918, in Kenosha, she was the daughter of the late Nick and Mary (Montemurro) Forgianni. She was a lifelong resident of Kenosha. On May 27, 1939, she married Eugene J. Marrelli at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. She was a member of DAV (Disabled American Veterans), Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, and Italian American Ladies Auxiliary where she was awarded "Mother of the Year". She enjoyed cooking, baking and spent a great amount of time preparing for family gatherings. She loved her children and grandchildren and spent much time with them. She and her husband were ballroom dancers for many years. She also enjoyed crocheting. Kathryn is survived by her husband, Eugene; two sons, Frank (Jan) Marrelli of Kenosha and Jimmy (Mina) Marrelli of Burnsville, NC; two sisters, Rose Lamantia of Kenosha and Vi Chiappetta of Michigan; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother, Tony Forgianni, and her three sisters, Angeline Bonaretti, Josephine Bonofiglio and Ann Covelli. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 19th, from the Proko Funeral Home at 9:30 a.m. Mass to be celebrated at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 10:00 a.m. Entombment to follow at All Saints Mausoleum.
