Dear Sluga Family,Life at our house will never be the same, your father will be missed. We will miss seeing him in the backyard "putzing" around or sitting on his front stoop having a pipe. The Packers will miss their number one fan, and we will miss sharing our hopes for a winning season with him over the fence. Just the other day, I had been teasing Dan and told him when our grandchild gets big enough and he was tired of watching him that he could just put him over the fence with Ben's grandkids. With all the others, he'd never know the difference! It has been a pleasure being neighbors with a wonderful, kind, goodhearted and generous man. We are all truly blessed from knowing him. Please know that if you need anything, we are available to help in any way that we can.Love,Robyn and Dan

So sorry to hear of Bernies passing. My dad John Kingfisher worked with him at Tri-Clover and retired the same year. I didn't know your father/husband personally but I know he was a good friend to my dad, when dad retired, my youngest daughter was born that year, she use to go with grandpa to the grocery store and thats where she met Bernie or "Barney" as she called him (she really loved the big purple dinosaur) For years after Dad would jokingly call your father Barney. He was a good man and will be missed greatly. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers. May you be blessed with his wonderful lifes memories and comforted by the presence of his Spirit...forever with you all.Mona Walentowski
