Rose S. Rantisi, 84, of Kenosha, passed away Sunday, March 2nd, 2008, at Alterra Clare Bridge. Born in Jaffa, Palestine, on January 28, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Costandi and Hanneh (Fino) Tannous. She moved to Zion, IL, in 1983, and later to Kenosha, where she has lived since 1987. On November 22, 1942, she married Souleiman Rantisi in Lydda, Palestine. He preceded her in death in 1974. She was also preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters. Family was very important to Rose. Being a very personable lady, she loved being surrounded by people, always enjoying the art of conversation. Surviving are five sons and six daughters, one brother, 40 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 5th, at Proko Funeral Home at 1:30 p.m. Interment to follow at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park.
