Aurora Perez, 87, of Kenosha, passed away Saturday, February 16th, 2008, at the Brookside Care Center. Born in Powell, WY, on June 3, 1920, she was a daughter of the late Fermin and Casimira (Garcia) Perez. Aurora moved to Kenosha at the age of five and was educated in local schools. She was of the Catholic faith and really enjoyed playing bingo. Surviving is a sister, Constance M. Klein of Kenosha, and many nieces and nephews. Aurora was preceded in death by three brothers, Joseph (Sara), Peter (Mary Jane), and Henry (Mary Jane) Perez; four sisters, Maria (Fred) Saldana, Antonia (Fernando) Marquez, Marjorie (Jack) George, and Mary (Calisto) Uribe; and three siblings who died in infancy. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 20th, at the Proko Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be private. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
