Frank C. SCHNEEBERGER

1925 ∼ 2008

Frank C. Schneeberger, 83, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully Monday, February 11th, 2008, at St. Luke's Hospital & Medical Center in Milwaukee. Born February 9, 1925, in Kenosha, he was the son of the late Frank and Dorothy M. (Kriedermann) Schneeberger, Sr. He was a lifelong resident of Kenosha, attending St. George Elementary School, Washington Jr. High School and Mary D. Bradford High School. He entered the United States Army, Troop E 5th Cavalry Regiment, on April 30, 1943, and was honorably discharged on June 16, 1945. He received The Asiatic Pacific Theater Ribbon, Philippine Liberation Ribbon, and the Distinguished Unit Badge with 4 Battle Stars. On November 27, 1943, he married Madeline Pasquali at Camp Stoneman, CA. He worked as Quality Control Supervisor for American Motors for 28 years, retiring in December of 1982. A member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, Holy Name Society of Mt. Carmel, Knights of Columbus, and Quality Control Club of American Motors Corp., Frank greatly enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and golfing. He and Madeline really enjoyed traveling upon retirement and he was a lifelong Chicago Cubs fan. Surviving Frank are his loving wife of 64 years, Madeline; his two children, Franceen Perronne of Bethel, CT, and Frank J. Schneeberger of Madison, WI; five grandchildren, Lisa Perronne of Minneapolis, MN, Ann Perronne of Gloucester, MA, Leia Schneeberger of Madison, WI, Joe Schneeberger of Madison, WI and Tanya Schneeberger of Kenosha; and one great-granddaughter, Scarlett Schneeberger. He was preceded in death by his son, Allen K. Schneeberger, and a brother, Raymond Schneeberger. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 14th, at Proko Funeral Home at 12:00 noon. Interment to be private at St. George Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday at Proko Funeral Home from 11:00 am until the time of the memorial service. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Kenosha Achievement Center in Frank's name would be appreciated by the family.
