Harvey J. Fort, 93, of Kenosha, passed away Monday, January 28th, 2008, at Brookdale Clare Bridge Assisted Living in Kenosha. Born in Chicago, IL, on June 2nd, 1914, he was a son of the late James and Emma Fort. He was a graduate of Downers Grove High School in Downers Grove, IL. He came to Kenosha from his farm in Lisle, IL, fifty-five years ago to make his home. He spent most of his life as a dairy farmer in Somers, WI. He was an animal lover who cared for many pets. Surviving are two nieces, Lorilee E. (Robert) Adams of Kenosha and Loreen Fort of Racine; and a sister-in-law, Lorraine Fort of Kenosha. He was preceded in death by a brother, LeRoy Fort. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 1st, at Proko Funeral Home at 10:00 am. Interment to follow at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Thursday at Proko Funeral Home from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Lorilee,My deepest sympathy to you and your family. Please feel the "virtual" hug I have been giving you this week. I had hoped to get to the visitation tonight. However, the weather and road conditions were not in my favor. My prayers, thoughts and heart are with you. Your strong faith will give you strength as you say goodbye to your Uncle. I hope you've had a chance to share many good memories with family and friends this week. I'm sure God has a big reward for you for all the love and care you've given your Uncle over the years.
