Frank Pontillo, 96, of Kenosha, passed away at his residence on Monday, January 7th, 2008. Born in Zion, IL, on May 26, 1911, he was the son of the late Antonio and Giovannina (Sturino) Pontillo. He and his family came to Kenosha when he as a young child and received his education in the schools of Kenosha. On March 2, 1935, he married Mikeline Santopoalo in Kenosha. He was employed at various jobs throughout his lifetime. His last place of employment was in the maintenance dept. of American Motors. He was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church and enjoyed fishing. Surviving are his wife, Mikeline of Kenosha; two daughters, Loretta J. (Richard) Woodside and Patricia Lukawski, both of Pleasant Prairie; a sister, Jenny Gibson of Racine; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Frank Pontillo; a grandson, Frankie Pontillo; five brothers, Anthony, Ralph, Robert, Louie and Cyril; and two sisters, Mary Brandt and Theresa Beltrano. Private funeral services were held on Friday, January 11th, at Proko Funeral Home. Entombment followed at All Saints Mausoleum.
