Dunny, Lauren, Randy, Kathy, Robert, Dale, Cindy, Cheryl, and kids,Though years and distance have separated us, Arleen has bound us together in ways we probably don't even realize. I still remember being a front-toothless,"junior bridesmaid" in Arleen and Dunny's wedding. My house and Christmas tree are still decorated with lovely macrame decorations that Arleen made (and with a little "bird in a gilded cage" from Grandma Hornburg). My memories are still decorated with Arleen's easy laughter, incredible musical talent, kindness, courage, and energy. My last wonderful memory actually occurred when my mom was sick, and she, Arleen and I got into a hysterical laughing jag, all lying together in her bed.I hope that the years of happy memories overshadow the last few painful days. I think they will --that's what Arleen would want.Love, Ardie
