Benceslado "Bence" Ramos, 87, of Kenosha, passed away, Wednesday, November 7th, 2007, at Woodstock Health Care Center. Born in San Antonio, TX, on September 28, 1920, he was the son of the late Ramon and Beatrice (Vargas) Ramos. He came to Kenosha from San Antonio in 1969 to make his home. On February 14, 1943, he married Marqarita Galvin in Seguin, TX. She preceded him in death in 1984. He worked for various construction companies, retiring in 1976. He enjoyed being a handyman around the house and building things. Surviving are seven children, Beatrice Rodriguez of Kenosha, Angelita (Julian) Cruz of Kenosha, Benny (Hope) Ramos of Pleasant Prairie, Sylvia (Eliseo) Rico of San Antonio, TX, Blanca (Nabor) Ramos of San Antonio, TX, Felix Ramos of Kenosha, and Mary Ramos of Oklahoma; four sisters, Eloisa Arizmendez, Alicia Montez, Celia Rejino and Bertha Ramos, all of San Antonio, TX; forty-two grandchildren; 104 great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, Ralph Ramos; a daughter, Carmen Rodriguez; a brother, Felix Ramos; and two sisters, Petra Guzman and Eufemia Ramos. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 14th, at Proko Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 am. Interment to follow at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Tuesday at Proko Funeral Home from 5:30 pm until 8:00 pm and on Wednesday from 10:00 am until the time of the service.
