June M. Parent, 86, of Kenosha, passed away Tuesday, October 23rd, 2007, at St. Catherine's Medical Center. Born in Ironwood, MI, on January 30, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Medeo and Elizabeth (Hill) Forte. She was a 1938 graduate of A.J. Johnston High School in Bessemer, MI. On October 18, 1941, she married Henry P. Parent at St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Ironwood, MI. He passed away April 7, 2003. A member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and a former member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. She was a homemaker and enjoyed listening to music. She is survived by two children, a son, Gene (Dubinda) Parent, and a daughter, Lenore Parent both of Kenosha; a sister, Corinne Sonna of Las Vegas NV; two grandchildren, Brian (Tanya) Parent, Randy (Cori Rozewicz) Parent; and a great-grandson, Branden Parent. She was preceded in death by a brother, Clarence Forte, and a sister, Mildred Margetta. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 26th, from Proko Funeral Home at 9:30 am. Mass to be celebrated at St. Mary's Catholic Church at 10:00 am. Interment to follow at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park.
