Betty Jean Hanson, 80, of Kenosha, passed away Monday, October 22nd, 2007, at her residence. Born in Kenosha on July 6, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Evan Krans. She was a lifelong resident of Kenosha and was educated in local schools. She was an organ teacher for Hammond Organ. Betty Jean loved her dogs and enjoyed attending dog shows with her husband. She also loved flowers. Surviving are her husband, Raymond H. Hanson of 54 years; a sister of Milwaukee; and two nieces. She will be sadly missed by many friends and relatives. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 25th, at Proko Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 am. Interment to follow at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Thursday at Proko Funeral Home from 10:00 am until the time of services.
