Sylvia Ann PITTS

1925 ∼ 2007

Sylvia Ann PITTS
Our precious mother got her wish; she passed away on Monday, September 24th, 2007, at Brookside Care Center. She wanted to go home and is now in her eternal home with all the people she loved who went before her. Born on May 22, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Margaret (Glinski) Kinsey. She attended the schools of North Chicago, IL. She had worked at Great Lakes Naval Base until her marriage to Frank T. Pitts on August 26, 1950, at Holy Family Catholic Church in North Chicago. Frank passed away April 24, 1999. She led a life completely dedicated to her faith and family. She enjoyed the Green Bay Packers and the Chicago Cubs. Sylvia was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church. Sylvia was a wonderful mother to her seven children, David (Pat) Pitts, Darlene (Ken) Gretzinger, Linda (Jerry) Demske, Claudia (Tom) Corradini, Renee (Marty) Lang, Cheryl Haubrich, and Lisa (Randy) Westphal, all of Kenosha; 18 grandchildren; and two great-granddaughters. We're very grateful for the wonderful care our mother received from the staff at Brookside Care Center and Hospice Alliance. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 27th, from Proko Funeral Home at 9:15 am. Mass to be celebrated at St. Peter's Catholic Church at 10:00 am. Interment to follow at All Saints Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday at Proko Funeral Home from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family would be appreciated.Proko Funeral Home & Crematory5111-60th StreetKenosha, WI 53144Phone: (262) 654-3533Visit Sylvia's Online Memorial Book at:www.prokofuneralhome.com
