Aldo Tenuta, 65, of Kenosha, passed away Thursday, August 23rd, 2207, at his home surrounded by his family after a short illness. Born in Castrolibero, Province of Cosenza, Italy, on December 4, 1941, he was the son of the late Angelo and Florinda (Ruffolo) Tenuta. He was educated in the schools of Italy before coming to Kenosha on April 23, 1958, with his mother and sister to join his father. On July 11, 1964, he married Ida Rovella at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church. He worked at G & H Products. In 1980, he founded his own company, A.T. Polishing, Inc., where he worked until his retirement. A member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, Aldo loved spending time with his children and especially his grandchildren, and also loved bowling. The family would like to thank his bowling friends for their support. He spent as much time as possible in Florida and most recently in Italy. He loved driving his Corvette on Sunday mornings. Surviving are his wife, Ida; two children, Angelo (Deborah) Tenuta of Pleasant Prairie and Linda (Peter) Ruffolo of Kenosha; a sister, Elvira (Frank) Trecroci of Kenosha; his six grandchildren, Stephanie, Santino, Madelyn, Michelle, AJ (Aldo) and Peter; his brother-in-law, Michele (Raffaella) Rovella; two sisters-in-law, Maria Caira and Amelia (Leopoldo) Ruffolo; and many nephews and nieces. Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 27th, from Proko Funeral Home at 9:30 am. Mass to be celebrated at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church at 10:00 am. Entombment to follow at All Saints Mausoleum. Visitation will be held on Sunday at Proko Funeral Home from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm.
