Santos Garcia, 61, of Kenosha, passed away Wednesday, July 25th, 2007, at Beverly Living Center. Born in Durango, Mexico, on August 23, 1945, he was the son of the late Seledonia and Maria (Lopez) Garcia. He moved to Kenosha from Chicago, IL, in 2000. On November 14, 1984, he married Alicia (Ramirez) Garcia in Chicago. He had been employed by Mannheimer Meat Company and Lee Lumber Co., both in Chicago. Santos loved to do Word Search Puzzles, watch the Animal Channel, walk the family dog, Romee, and play with his cat, Chachita. He loved all animals. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family. Surviving are his wife, Alicia of Kenosha; a son, Eulalio "Lalito" Garza, Jr.; a daughter, Selia (Eugene W.) Ramirez Patterson, Jr.; a grandson, Rosalio Gutierrez, Jr.; a brother, Miguel Garcia; four sisters, Maria Antonia Cabado, Guadalupe Garcia, Carmen Cabada, and Juana Herrera; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Seledonio Garcia, and a sister, Audocia Garcia. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 31st, at Proko Funeral Home Chapel at 10:00 am. Interment to follow at St. George Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday at Proko Funeral Home from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm.
