I am truly sorry that I have not seen you or Uncle Thurmon since Dad's funeral. I will forever have that regret. I do know that when someone is so very ill and God chooses to take them, we can rest assure that He knows best. I am so glad to know that Thurman is now in the arms of Jesus and with my Dad, grandparents, uncles and his sister. Love Daniel and Linda

Kathy,It is a great great loss that we have had with Thurman passing. We will feel this void in our hearts for years to come. We as humans are selfish and want to hold on to him forever, but the Lord knew it was time for him to come home and He was ready. He will be greatly missed by all that new him. In time the pain will ease, but the memmories will hold forever. We can't make the funeral for health reasons as you know, but we are with you in spirit. Standing beside you, holding your hand. With much love,Jane

DEAR KATHY, I AM SORRY THAT THURM IS NO LONGER WITH US. I KNOW HOW MUCH HE WAS SUFFERING. THOUGH WE DIDN'T GET TO SEE HIM MUCH, WE STILL THOUGHT OF HIM AND YOU OFTEN. IT WAS GOOD TO HEAR THAT HE HAD MADE EVERYTHING RIGHT WITH THE LORD BEFORE HE WENT TO MEET HIM. I JUST WATCHED A MINISTER A COUPLE OF DAYS AGO TELL OF HIS EXPERIENCE OF DYING. HE HAD BEEN PRONOUNCED DEAD AND GOD SENT HIM BACK. HE TOLD OF HOW BEAUTIFUL HEAVEN WAS! THE MINISTER SAID THAT EACH BLADE OF GRASS HAD THREE DIFFERENT JEWELS ON IT AND THAT THE RIVER OF LIFE LOOKED LIKE LIQUID DIAMONDS!!! HE IS WITH DADDY AND THE REST OF HIS FAMILY THAT HE MISSED VERY MUCH. I BELIEVE THAT THURM IS AT PEACE AND NOW WE NEED TO PREPARE TO JOIN HIM SOMEDAY!!!! YOU ARE IN OUR PRAYERS AND WE DO WISH THAT WE WERE ABLE TO BE WITH YOU.

Kathy, Karen, Danny, and Michell, I am so sorry we have to go through giving up the ones we love so very much . Uncle Thurman was always like an older brother to us - the human part of us want to hang on forever. The bible tells us that to be out of the body is to be present with the Lord and we would never want to bring them back here. All we can do now is wait for the day we are united with them. I am not going to be able to make the funeral - I've had some problems myself that I need to stay home and handle - but I will keep you in my prayers and you can keep me in yours. Love, Darlene

Although his pain is over, your's shall be there for a while but rest assured the same angel that watched over Him shall be there to protect and guide you. With heartfelt sorrow we feel your loss. He shall abound with the angels to watch over you. Sadly missed but never forgotten
