Kenneth G. O'Connor, 72 of Kenosha passed away Thursday, June 21st at Brookside Care Center. Complete obituary information will be available for Sunday's paper. Born in Kenosha on March 8th, 1935, the son of the late Alexander and Florence (Doutre) O'Connor. A lifelong resident of Kenosha, educated in local schools. On June 11th, 1960 in Waukegan, IL he married Betty Lou McPherson He was in the United States Marine Corp from August 13, 1953 until his honorable discharge of August 12, 1956. He served in Korea. He had been employed by A & P Grocery Store from 1952 until 1973, Milwaukee Biscuit Co. from 1974 until 1997, Accosta Brokerage from 1997 until his retirement in 2006. Kenneth enjoyed golfing and bowling. Surviving are his wife Betty of Kenosha; two children Susan Mack of Kenosha and Tim (Debbie) O'Connor of Fond du lac, WI; one brother; Bernard O'Connor of Cottonwood, AZ; two sisters, Joyce (Peggy) Anderson of Kenosha, Linda (Don) Marquissee of Appleton, WI; brother & sister-in-law, Jerry & Joyce Hayden of Platteville, WI; five grandchildren, Steven, Jaclyn, Shelly, Nickie, Max, one great grandchild Anna, also nine nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 27th at 11 a.m. at Proko Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Green Ridge Cemetery . Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 9 a.m. until the time of services at Proko Funeral Home.
