Rose Marie LINDSTROM
Rose Marie Lindstrom 87, of Kenosha went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, June 19th at St. Catherine's Medical Center Campus. Born in Centerville, Iowa on July 17, 1919, the daughter of the late Antonio and Mary (Asiglanio) Sartor. She moved to Wisconsin from Iowa as a teenager. She worked at Warwick Electronics in Waukegan, IL, Simmons Co. and later a cook at Kenosha Hospital and Medical Center. A member of First Assembly of God, former member of the Swedish American club. Rose was a very caring person, she was the family care giver. Rose enjoyed gardening, sewing, crafts and Bible Reading. She loved to cook, can and give the fruits of her labor away. Surviving are a son; James Lindstrom, two daughters, Dorothy M. Barca and Jeanne E. (Ozzie) Parsons of Kenosha and seven grandchildren, Steven (Bonnie) and Russell Lindstrom, Todd, Troy and Jason (Becky) Parsons, Frank and Jonathan Barca; five great grandchildren, Tiffany, Zachary, Amanda, Jacob, Sara, Susan and Samantha, one great great grandchild, Ani and other family members Denise Zanotti and Renate Fumich. She was preceded in death by a brother Guido Sartor. Rose was a resident at Brookside Care Center where she was able to continue to share her love with staff and residents. We would like to express our thanks to all who touched Rose's life at Brookside Care Center and to thank all the staff at St. Catherine's Medical Center who cared for Rose. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 23rd at 10 a.m. at First Assembly of God. Interment to follow at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Friday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Proko Funeral Home and on Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of services at First Assembly of God.
