Rosalie P. Ruffolo, 87, of Kenosha, passed away Monday, June 11th, 2007, at St. Joseph's Home for the Aged. Born on October 14, 1919, in Kenosha, she was the daughter of the late Alessandro and Rae (Conforti) Savaglio. She was a lifelong resident of Kenosha and was educated in local schools. On January 13, 1940, she married Gabriel A. Ruffolo at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church. He passed away October 26, 1979. Rosalie was a homemaker most of her life but also worked part time for Connie (Bosco) and Gino DeBartolo at Connie's Collections For Her until her retirement in 2001. A member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church and Holy Rosary Ladies Society, Rosalie also enjoyed cooking, baking and making pillows and afghans. Surviving are a son, Joseph D. (Linda Lee) Ruffolo of Ft. Wayne, IN; two sisters, Adriana Savaglio of Kenosha and Yolanda Hennig of Billings, MT; a brother, Dr. Alessandro (Marie) Savaglio DDS of Kenosha; two grandchildren, Julie (Brian) Gilpin of Wisconsin and Joseph D. Ruffolo II of New York; and a great-grandchild, Jack William Gilpin. In addition to the immediate family, Rosalie is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews in the Savaglio and Bosco families in Kenosha as well as in Colorado, Montana, Oregon, and Texas. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 15th, from Proko Funeral Home at 10:30 am. Mass to be celebrated at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church at 11:00 am. Entombment to follow at All Saints Mausoleum. Visitation will be held on Friday at Proko Funeral Home from 8:30 am until 10:30 am.
