Luanne J. Kubec, 72, of Kenosha, passed away Wednesday, April 25th, 2007, at United Hospital System-Kenosha Campus. Born in Kenosha on June 17, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Alden and Lucille Kubec. She was a lifelong resident of Kenosha, educated in local schools. She had been a receptionist for the Kenosha Police Dept. for 30 years. Her two loves were photography and the Kenosha Police Dept. Luanne liked to play the Stock Market through Penny Stocks. She is survived by two daughters, Lucille (Wayne) German of Stockton, CA, and Kim (Gary) Preston of Kenosha; a brother, Robert A. Kubec of Florida; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; five nieces; and two nephews. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Becky Simpkins, and a sister, Nanette Erdmond. Private family services will be held in California at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Kenosha Public Safety Fund, care of Lt.
